Kelly’s Corner
Where Faith Grows Beyond the Pages
Hi, Friend! Pull up a chair— I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome to Kelly’s Corner—my little place to share the stories behind my books, moments from everyday life, my faith journey, and the inspiration that keeps Whispering Meadow growing. Whether you’re here to discover a new book, read a “Hey Jesus..” post, or simply stop by for encouragement, I hope you feel right at home.
So grab a cup of coffee, stay awhile, and welcome to my little corner of the internet!

☕ This Week Has Been a Doozy!
If you've ever wondered what life looks like while building an author website, writing books, and being "Gigi"... this week is a pretty good example.
I've been working hard to get KellyOriani.com ready to welcome visitors while also spending time with my grandchildren. One wasn't feeling well, another had a sore shoulder, and as always, they reminded me that people are far more important than to-do lists.
By God’s grace, everything somehow came together.
I'm tired... but I'm thankful.
I’ve learned that sometimes the Lord doesn't give us more hours in the day. He simply gives us enough strength for the next thing.
And for that, I'm grateful.
What has the Lord been teaching you this week? I’d love to hear your story.
Until next time…
Wherever this week finds you, I hope you notice God’s fingerprints in the ordinary moments.
Behind Whispering Meadow
Ever wondered where Dean, David, Charlee, and Abigail came from? This is where I share the stories behind the stories, along with sneak peeks of new adventures still growing in Whispering Meadow.
The very first Whispering Meadow story I wrote was David's.
David is my oldest grandson. When he was a little boy, he loved grabbing onto the headboard, the front of the couch, or anything sturdy he could find just so he could jump up and down and giggle.
He was always full of energy, imagination, and joy... and before long, he became my little frog.
Sometimes the biggest leaps of faith begin with the smallest joyful hearts.
The Whisper Behind the Story...
Sometimes God gives us a story long before we realize He's writing one.
Today’s Prayer
Honest conversations with Jesus… some funny, some heartfelt, but all written to remind us He’s always listening.
Dear Jesus,
Thank You for meeting me in ordinary moments.
Thank You for coffee on quiet mornings, wagging tails at my feet, and stories that remind us You're always working—even when we can't see it.
Help me keep pointing people to You.
Amen.
Hey Jesus…
Funny, honest, and heartfelt conversations with Jesus…because He cares about every part of our lives.
Hey Jesus...
So...I started a website.
Which is funny, because there was a time I was proud of myself for figuring out how to attach a file to an email.
If anything on this website is crooked, missing, or mysteriously disappears...I’m just going to call it "character building."
Thanks for stretching me…even when I’d rather stay comfortable.
Also...if You could gently guide the Wi-Fi signal while You're at it, I'd appreciate it.
Love,
Kelly

Something exciting is buzzing around Whispering Meadow...
You first met Kaitlynn the Joyful Bumble Bee in Dean the Gentle Bear, where she worked alongside her friends to help Honey Hill bloom again.
Soon, she'll be taking center stage in her very own adventure—a story about hard work, joy, and discovering that even the smallest acts of faith can make a big difference.
I can't wait to introduce her to you.
Thank you for growing with Whispering Meadow. Every new story is a blessing to create, and I'm so grateful you're on this journey with me.
